Financial Peace University
This personal finance class is a 13 week series created
by financial counselor Dave Ramsey. The purpose of the program is "to empower and give HOPE to everyone from the financially
secure to the financially distressed." This was a terrific class held in the spring, so we are planning to hold
additional FPC classes in the fall! Call for additional information.
Education for Ministry (EFM)
This four-year program of intentional theological education was developed by Sewanee Seminary. Organized around
small groups meeting each Sunday evening, participants grow spiritually as they study, share, reflect and worship. We
will have this year's graduation class recognized on Sunday, May 18th!

Lent is a time for reflection and for meditating on God's Word, and our annual Lenten Study held with Trinity Episcopal
Church (Huntington) supports this holy season. We just completed our Wednesday night Lenten series hosted by St.
John's for an evening of dinner, worship and study. The focus of the study was entitled "Gracism" --how we can
be people of grace and overcome the differences and divisions we too often experience. Topics were drawn from the book, Gracism, by Dr. David A. Anderson.
