Dress for Success River Cities - Begun by our parishioner, Dr. Sherri Smith
in 2006, the mission for Dress for Success River Cities is to promote the economic independence of disadvantaged women by
providing professional attire, a network of support and the career development tools to help women thrive in work and in life.
It is part of Dress for Success which has over 80 affiliates world-wide! Check out the link for more information on
this ministry. Equal Exchange Coffee - Small choices can
make a difference, so we use Equal Exchange Coffee each Sunday. Equal Exchange offers various items from democratically
run farmer co-ops in Latin America, Africa and Asia. Faith in
Action of the River Cities - St. John's works to serve the three local counties with this outreach ministry,
which was begun in 1996. Faith in Action of the River Cities, which is part of the Faith in Action national program,
assists in bill paying, chores, housekeeping, meals, shopping and transportation. Call our office to learn more about
opportunities to serve! Prayer Quilt Ministry - From the
vision and dedication of parishioner Lynn Butler, this ministry of prayer and outreach is a labor of love as quilts are hand-made
here at St. John's by parishioners, and then delivered to those for whom we pray. This ministry is part of "Prayers
& Squares", an international organization that brings together over 700 chapters that share this commitment to the
gift of prayer coupled with the gift of a hand-tied quilt. For more information on this special ministry, contact the
office.
