My pet parrot Kiwi is picky about her parrots toys. Keeping her interested in her parrots toys can sometimes be a task. Usually I have to rotate her toys several times a week in order to keep her from acting out in bad ways. I keep several types of parrots toys on hand and usually switch them out every other day. Doing this keeps her interested in her toys and she is more likely to play with them. If however, I fail to be diligent about rotating her toys she becomes very bored. I know this simply because she runs around her cage squawking loudly in protest. Once I rearrange her toys and rotate them she quickly stops her protest and becomes very interested in the new toys that are hanging in her cage. This can be tiresome at times, this is why I keep a supply of about twenty toys on hand ready to rotate.
